What you’ll be responsible for: Owning branch performance You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day and long-term success of the branch. That means driving growth, managing budgets, controlling costs, and improving profitability, while keeping service standards high. Leading and developing people You’ll lead the branch team, set clear expectations, coach performance, and build a culture of accountability and teamwork. You’ll have the autonomy to shape how the team operates and performs. Being close to customers and sales You’ll stay connected to key clients through regular face-to-face engagement and support sales activity where needed. You’ll oversee quoting, order management, and follow-up, ensuring strong relationships and consistent delivery. Running a tight operation You’ll manage inventory purchasing, dispatch, and stock control. You’ll ensure systems, processes, and procedures are followed, while also improving them where they no longer make sense.
