Base Salary $112,628 - $ 122,702 (HEO7) 17% superannuation About the opportunity As a Health and Wellbeing Officer within Student Wellbeing, you will provide specialist wellbeing support and case management for students navigating behavioural misconduct and student safety processes at the University. Working with students experiencing complex wellbeing, safety and behavioural needs, you will help them to understand University processes, comply with conduct conditions, and safely remain engaged with their studies and the University community. You will contribute to a coordinated, trauma‑informed institutional response to behavioural misconduct matters, working closely with colleagues across Student Wellbeing, Safer Communities, faculties, accommodation services and other key stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will be to: provide specialist case management and wellbeing support for students involved in behavioural misconduct processes conduct intake, assessment and risk identification for complex and high‑risk student matters develop and coordinate tailored support, monitoring and reintegration plans support students to understand and adhere to behavioural conditions and conduct outcomes liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure coordinated, trauma‑informed responses maintain accurate and confidential case records, reports and documentation. About you You are an experienced clinician who brings sound professional judgement, resilience and a trauma informed approach to working with individuals in complex or regulated environments. You will have: a bachelor’s degree in counselling, social work, psychology, occupational therapy or a related allied health discipline demonstrated experience providing case management and wellbeing support in complex or high risk contexts experience assessing and responding to behavioural risk and student safety concerns the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders experience supporting individuals navigating compliance, conduct or regulatory processes a Working With Children Check, or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement. Please note: As this is a client‑facing position, you will be required to be available to attend the office full time.
