About the Role
Working across multiple sites across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, the Area VM will deliver customer-focused visual merchandising executions within our local Quicksilver, Billabong, Surf Dive n Ski, Volcom and Boardriders retail stores.
As the VM lead for 19 stores, you will provide in-person and remote support to our store teams, with a strong focus on training and developing Visual Merchandising skills and standards.
This role provides an opportunity to work across a variety of store formats and brands, with a strong connection to our Burleigh Head Office.
You will have the ability to influence VM on a large scale with your creative input.
The role will be structured around 1 day per week of office / work from home and 4 days on the road, travelling from Southport to Grafton.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Visual Merchandising, this position plays an essential role in ensuring visual merchandising plans are executed consistently and effectively throughout the local area.
The purpose of this role is to:
* Enhance the customer experience.
* Deliver impactful brand stories and in-store presentations.
* Execute seasonal and national merchandising plans.
* Coach in-store teams to ensure presentation standards are maintained and VM capabilities are developed throughout the region.
* Analyse sales performance to measure the success and impact of visual merchandising efforts.
What You Bring:
You're an experienced Visual Merchandiser with demonstrated leadership and coaching skills. You will have:
* Solid experience in visual merchandising execution and implementation
* Experience in a multi-site retail role or experience working with multiple brands or concepts in a large-format retailer.
* Demonstrated experience in coaching and training floor staff on merchandising disciplines
* Experience working with Inventory Systems and reporting functions
* Experience in a fashion retail sales environment
* Ability to adapt and refine existing product to suit varying retail environments
* Proven ability to work autonomously
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
