Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced activity instructor to join our team as a Program Facilitator Assistant. This role involves hosting groups of guests and helping to facilitate their planned activities during their stay at Phillip Island, Victoria.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment. As a Christian organisation, we aim to create a unique and special experience for our guests, making lasting memories that can change lives.
Main Responsibilities
* Welcome and host guest groups in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
* Act as an experience and adventure guide for visiting groups
* Provide activity orientation, instruction, and operation to participating guests
* E nsure compliance with safe operating procedures, activity safety guides, and risk management plans
* Perform activity maintenance tasks, including preparing activity areas ahead of group session times, completing safety checks, and documenting any maintenance requirements
* Maintain valid Level 2 First Aid, Life Saving Certification, and any other relevant Victorian DEECD qualifications (training provided)
* Adhere to procedures relating to child protection, child safety, and mandatory reporting
* A vailability of 20-30 hours per week on a flexible roster
