Join Our Team as a Food Services/Catering Assistant
We are seeking a Food Services/Catering Assistant to help make mealtimes enjoyable for our residents in a friendly, home-like environment.
Location: Wahroonga Aged Care, Biloela, QLD
Position: Casual | Flexible Shifts
Remuneration: $29.12 to $30.07 per hour + Salary Packaging (up to $15,990 tax-free) + Employee discounts
About The Role:
* Assist with meal preparation and plating for residents
* Support dishwashing and cleaning tasks in the kitchen
* Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards
* Provide friendly, respectful service to residents and team members
* Contribute to a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment
About You:
* Experience in aged care or similar kitchen environments
* Confidence in using commercial kitchen equipment and following food safety procedures
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Positive and professional approach to resident interaction
* Flexibility to work weekends and rotating shifts
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening and/or Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
