The Situation :
We are seeking an experienced Site Administrator to join a leading mining client on a permanent basis, working an 8 : 6 roster.
Based near Middlemount, this role plays a pivotal part in supporting all departments and operations on site, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage all site administration, including record keeping, data entry, and document control
Enter hazard and safety reporting into internal databases and software systems
Provide administrative support to training, superintendents, and department managers
Handle filing, archiving, and respond to phone and email enquiries
Assist with scheduling, coordination, and communication with both internal and external stakeholders
Reconcile invoices and monitor site-related expenses
Oversee onboarding processes, including medical bookings and employee file updates
Coordinate site inductions, training sessions, and travel arrangements
Requirements :
Proven site administration experience within mining or heavy industry
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
Demonstrated experience in high-volume administrative environments
Proficiency in data entry and document management systems
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
Hold a Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 or willing to obtain
