Join our Child Sexual Abuse Therapy Service (CSATS), where you will review referrals, complete intake and assessments, and determine eligibility.
You will provide case management to children and/or families while on the waitlist for therapeutic services, including making referrals, conducting risk assessments, safety planning, and addressing barriers to goals.
You will also offer brief intervention counselling to families as needed, working alongside passionate professionals in a client-centred environment to deliver impactful clinical services.
This role allows you to bring your specialist experience to a learning environment that supports continuous skill development.
It is a part-time position (0.6 FTE) until February 2027, with flexible and life-friendly work options to help balance your work and personal life.
Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat you will bring You should have a patient and empathetic nature, with experience in delivering person-centred, trauma-informed, culturally appropriate services.
To succeed, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related fieldKnowledge and experience supporting children or adults impacted by sexual abuseSignificant experience in intake and assessment processesCounselling experience with children and families in therapeutic settingsExceptional interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and negotiationSharing your knowledge and skills, you will make a positive impact on families and communities across the state.
