AMEK Engineering is a national company providing first class building services to the commercial sector. We are multidisciplinary trade specialists that in addition to HVAC, also offer our expertise in Electrical, Fire and BMS automation.
Applicants based in the Pilbara (Tom Price, Paraburdoo, Newman or Port Hedland) are ideal for this role. Apprentices nearing the end of the apprenticeship are also welcome to apply!
YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance of electrical fittings and equipment.
- Carry out breakdown service, installations and quoted project works as required
- Undertake further training on the testing of essential services equipment.
- Preparation and submission of service reports.
- Log detailed reports of work performed in a field management app
- Ensure client expectations are met.
ABOUT YOU:
- Electrical service and maintenance experience
- Knowledge of DDC systems will be highly regarded
- Basic HVAC knowledge
- Attention to detail with solid fault-finding abilities
- Honest and Reliable
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- OHS&E; knowledge and understanding.
- Be willing to travel inter/intra state when required
- Be available for planned and unplanned overtime

REQUIREMENTS
- Have your own basic hand tools, cordless tools and testing instruments
- Full Electrical License
- ‘C’ Class Driver’s License
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Working at Heights Ticket (Within 2 years)
- National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
- Ability to obtain Working with Children check
- Right to work in Australia
Remuneration is negotiable by experience and will be discussed with you upon successful application.
