Dynamite Printing is seeking an experienced Offset Printer to join our team in Dandenong South, Victoria. As an Offset Printer, you will play a vital role in our fast‑paced printing and publishing services, delivering high‑quality print work for our diverse range of clients. This is a full‑time position with opportunities for career growth and development.
The Role
This role includes assisting our printers as well as working autonomously on both our 5‑colour Heidelberg and 8‑colour Heidelberg SM74 presses. This involves handling paper, ink, chemicals and general maintenance of the machine.
What you'll be doing
* Operating and maintaining offset printing presses to produce a wide variety of printed materials, including brochures, magazines, books, and more.
* Preparing printing plates, mixing inks, and making necessary adjustments to ensure consistent print quality.
* Troubleshooting and addressing any issues that arise during the printing process to meet production deadlines.
* Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborating with the design and pre‑press teams to ensure the final printed products meet the client's specifications.
* Maintaining detailed records of print runs, paper usage, and other production data.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an Offset Printer, with a strong understanding of offset printing techniques and equipment.
* Excellent colour matching and print quality control skills.
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
* Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve printing issues.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality printed materials.
* Familiarity with pre‑press workflows and experience working with design teams.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
