$1,800 per day Flights & Accommodation Provided MMM7 Location The opportunity This is a rewarding locum opportunity in Yuendumu, one of Central Australia’s largest Aboriginal communities. Located around 300 km northwest of Alice Springs, you’ll provide primary healthcare Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with no on-call or after-hours work required. You’ll begin with another GP to ensure a smooth induction, before transitioning into GP solo work once comfortable. Support is always available through connected community health services, nurses, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners. Travel is straightforward: drive out to Yuendumu on Monday mornings and return to Alice Springs on Fridays. Accommodation is provided in-community, with the option to stay over weekends or spend them in Alice Springs depending on your preference. A car is also available for weekend use.
