The Opportunity
* Dynamics Functional Analyst
* 12 Month Fixed Term Contract / Full Time
* Hybrid Work - 2 days in the office
This role provides technical functional & process analysis and testing expertise in all aspects of the Dynamics platform. The purpose is to deliver the highest business value in the quickest time with minimal business risk.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with business users to design and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide technical support where needed.
* Developing and maintaining a Dynamics regression test suite, working closely with our Test Automation Engineer to convert manual scripts into automated ones.
* Supporting the Product Owner in shaping the product backlog by aligning business needs with compliance and regulatory requirements.
* Conducting hands-on testing across functional, non-functional, security, and compliance areas, ensuring acceptance criteria are consistently met.
You'll also facilitate key Agile ceremonies like backlog refinement, stand-ups, and sprint reviews, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
About you
We're seeking a candidate who brings a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a balance of technical and business acumen.
Additionally, you have:
* ISTQB Foundation certification and demonstrated experience in Agile testing concepts, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
* Hands-on experience with Acurity (2+ years) and a strong understanding of superannuation systems and legislative requirements (3+ years).
* Technical skills in MS SQL, T-SQL programming, and data manipulation tools like MS Excel (including Power Query and Power Pivot).
* Experience in automated testing tools and strategies, with a keen eye for detail in both functional and non-functional testing.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
