Lead Paediatric Specialist in Rural Healthcare
We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Consultant to provide expert clinical care to paediatric patients across the wider Goldfields region.
This is a Fixed Term – Sessional appointment at 10 sessions per fortnight (0.5 FTE) commencing ASAP, covering maternity leave with the possibility of extension.
About the Role:
* You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialist of Paediatrics and other healthcare professionals.
* Your primary base will be in Kalgoorlie, but you will also have the opportunity to travel throughout the stunning Goldfields region, contributing to healthcare in diverse communities.
* You will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering top-tier clinical care, including outpatient care, policy development, and clinical governance.
* In this role, you will work collaboratively with our team of three experienced Paediatricians and five trainees, including a Senior Registrar, Registrar, and two Residents in accredited Paediatric training positions.
