Procurement Expertise Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop specifications.
* Conduct comprehensive procurement activities, including market research, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
* Develop, manage, and evaluate tenders or contractor engagement, ensuring transparency and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Oversee the contractor onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
* Manage contractor performance and manage contractor amendments as required.
* Maintain up-to-date records of all procurement activities and contracts.
* Provide regular reports on procurement activities and contractor performance to the Industry Engagement Manager.
Essential Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the defence sector.
* Experience with tender development and management, as well as a proven track record of successful contractor management and onboarding.
* A strong understanding of procurement laws and regulations application to state-wide contracts is essential.
* Proficient communication skills and the capacity to convey information clearly.
* A tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
Additional Information:
* Must be an Australian Citizen able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
