Your new role
As a Development Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end development process across a portfolio of high-end projects. Responsibilities include:
* Managing the full project lifecycle from feasibility and planning through to construction and settlement
* Preparing and maintaining development programs, budgets, and feasibility models
* Coordinating design and consultant teams to achieve planning approvals and detailed design outcomes
* Leading preparation of planning applications and liaising with authorities to secure permits
* Collaborating with construction and project management teams throughout tender and delivery stages
* Managing contracts, documentation, reports, and progress tracking across multiple projects
* Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify risks
* Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and providing commercial insight to optimise project value
What you'll need to succeed
The following is highly regarded:
* Experience in property development, ideally across luxury residential or mixed-use projects
* Proven track record of delivering a complete project from concept through to completion
* Experience working within the Queensland market and understanding local planning frameworks
* Exposure to large-scale, complex projects with high-value budgets
* Strong understanding of end-to-end development processes, from feasibility and design to delivery
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and consultant teams with precision
* Degree qualification in Property, Construction, Commerce, Project Management, or related field
* Commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities and manage risks
