The Role: Fixed Term Contract | Term 1, 2026. Business Management & Economics Teacher | 0.67 – 1.0 FTE (negotiable). Start Date: 27 January 2026 | End Date: 2 April 2026. Closing Date: 7 October. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Business Management & Economics Teacher to join our team for Term 1, 2026. This position arises due to staff long service leave and offers the flexibility of a part-time or full-time appointment (0.67 – 1.0 FTE) depending on the successful candidate.

Responsibilities 
- Planning and delivering highly engaging and relevant lessons in Business Management and Economics. 
- Developing a culture of high expectations for all students. 
- Providing feedback to students and parents via the Continuous Reporting system. 
- Using data to analyse the progress of students and to review teaching and learning strategies. 
- Developing strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents. 
- Collaborating with colleagues to embed effective teaching strategies into the classroom.

- Proven competence with the use of technology in a learning environment. 
- Acts professionally and maintains appropriate confidentiality. 
- Appropriate qualification and demonstrated expertise in Business Management and/or Economics. 
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration. 
- Right to work in Australia. 
- Adherence to all College policies and demonstration of behaviours in accordance with the Child Safe Standards.
