POSITION OVERVIEW
CWC Lube Mechanical Services is seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles for our clients.
Key duties include performing general maintenance and mechanical repairs, fitting tyres, and conducting wheel balancing and alignment. You will be required to safely operate hoists, diagnostic scan tools, and other workshop equipment to identify and rectify mechanical issues efficiently.
The role also involves preparing accurate service reports and repair documentation, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety and manufacturer specifications.
As a valued member of the CWC team, you are expected to maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhere to workplace health and safety procedures, and contribute to the efficient operation of the workshop.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Possession of a valid C Class Driver's License (Manual license preferred).
* Minimum of one (1) year of relevant industry experience plus an Australian trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology).
* Proven ability to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and trustworthiness in the workplace.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards.
* Physically fit and capable of performing manual and mechanical tasks associated with the role.
