**Position Objective**:
Lead and deliver a high-quality Kindergarten program, meeting individual and group needs while upholding the standards of the NQF.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver a high-quality program in accordance with NQF, National Law, Regulations, and approved Early Learning Frameworks.
- Prepare, implement, and evaluate a program reflecting the Service philosophy and policies.
- Support the participation of all children, including those with additional needs.
- Create a warm, inclusive environment, fostering partnerships with families.
- Work in partnership with families to enable their contribution to service decisions and their child's learning.
- Develop strong relationships with families, providing support, guidance, and information.
- Maintain a professional workplace, promoting open communication and continuous improvement.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
- Complete service administration requirements in partnership with City Council and DEECD.
- Monitor and supervise students, volunteers, and family helpers assisting in the kindergarten program.

- Responsible for planning and implementing a high-quality program.
- Ensure compliance with NQF, National Law, Regulations, and Quality Standards.
- Responsible for centre administration requirements for City Council and DEECD.
**Specialist Skills and Knowledge**:
- Understanding of organisational context, policies, and regulations.
- Ability to implement requirements meeting VEYLDF, EYLF, and NQF.
- Knowledge of NQF, National Law, Regulations, Quality Standards, and Rating and Assessment processes.
**Management Skills**:
- Efficient time management, prioritisation, and organisational abilities.
- Initiative and flexibility in undertaking work.
- Evaluate students on placement and make recommendations regarding their performance.
**Interpersonal Skills**:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Positive communication with team members and the community.
- Diplomacy, confidentiality, and sensitivity in communication.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Completion of a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or other relevant ACECQA qualification.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements, developmental frameworks, and NQF.
- Strong understanding and ability to implement Early Learning Frameworks of Australia.
- Experience teaching in an early childhood setting, demonstrating the ability to implement high-quality educational programs.
- Current Early Childhood registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Current ACECQA approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management, and Adrenaline Auto Injection Device Refresher.
- Current Supervisor Certificate (desirable).
- Current Driver's License (desirable).
**Other Relevant Information**:
- Availability to work Saturdays if required.
**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Completion of a relevant ACECQA qualification.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of NQF, VEYLDF, and EYLF.
- Experience teaching in an early childhood setting.
- Current Early Childhood registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Current ACECQA approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management, and Adrenaline Auto Injection Device Refresher.
