About the Position
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will lead and execute end‐to‐end internal audits, providing insightful, practical recommendations that support better decision‐making and foster a strong culture of accountability and compliance.
You will build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business, act as a role model for integrity and professionalism, and provide coaching and mentoring to team members to support a collaborative, high‐performing audit culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead internal audits from planning through to reporting and follow‐up
* Assess the effectiveness of financial, operational, credit and compliance controls
* Conduct risk assessments and identify root causes of control weaknesses
* Prepare high‐quality audit workpapers and documentation
* Deliver clear, concise, and impactful audit reports
* Present findings to senior management and governance committees
* Build strong stakeholder relationships while maintaining independence
* Provide practical, evidence‐based recommendations
* Review and challenge management action plans
* Monitor implementation of agreed actions
* Contribute to improving audit methodologies and tools
* Stay current with regulatory developments and emerging risks

About You
You are a confident and analytical professional with strong audit experience and the ability to influence at a senior level.
Skills & Experience
* A degree in finance, business, audit, risk, compliance or related discipline
* 5+ years of experience in internal or external audit, risk, or compliance
* Experience within financial services, banking or lending
* Strong knowledge of risk‐based audit methodologies and control testing
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* High attention to detail, integrity and sound judgement
