Job Title: Mechanical Fitting Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitting Specialist to join our team.
As a key member of our Water and Sewer branch, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of water supply and sewerage assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical input in mechanical fields such as machining and troubleshooting/plant maintenance
* Contribute to the provision of mechanical data for asset management purposes
* Deliver cost-efficient services related to refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of water supply and sewerage assets
* Assist in testing and commissioning new installations of mechanical equipment
* Support the preparation of maintenance or new works contracts for Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic works
* Collaborate in updating the asset database for all maintenance replacement and refurbishment of water and sewer mechanical and electrical equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting and Machining
* Demonstrated work experience in the trade, including machining and troubleshooting/diagnosis for plant maintenance
* Basic computer skills
* MR Driver's licence
