About the role
Obstetric & Gynaecology Specialists UHG
This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant Obstetrics & Gynaecology team at the University Hospital of Geelong. The unit is serving an increasing number of women as residential accommodation increases locally. Plans are moving forwards with the new Barwon Women’s & Children’s Unit which is due for completion within the next 5 years. The innovative design of the hospital will enhance the care delivered by our team.
As a member of our team you will be a committed clinician, interested in developing our local service to help provide the best care for the woman & their families as they use our public obstetric & gynaecology service. You will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team working alongside nurses, midwives & allied health professionals.
We are invested in the future generation of clinicians. We are committed to provide excellent training. The unit is looking to become an ITP for RANZCOG Specialist Training.
Currently we offer general obstetrics & gynaecology, colposcopy, urogynaecology, early pregnancy assessment service, recurrent miscarriage, abortion service, fetal medicine, preterm birth, postnatal debrief & public fertility. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who will add to our portfolio for example perineal trauma clinic, urogynaecology, paediatric & adolescent gynaecology, perinatal mental health.
