Remuneration : $32.30 - $33.37 Per Hour + Superannuation

Location : Various across Hunter New England Local Health District

Employment Type : Casual

Position Classification : Administration Officer Level 2

We are seeking adaptable and motivated Casual Administration Officers to join our Integrated Care Services team across the Greater Newcastle and Lower Hunter regions. This role provides flexible administrative and clerical support in a variety of healthcare settings, helping to deliver coordinated, person-centred care.

As part of our casual pool, you’ll enjoy variety in your day-to-day work - no two days are the same. You’ll gain exposure across multiple services and sites, develop recent skills, and play a vital role in supporting staff, patients, and the wider health network.

In This Role, You’ll

- Provide administrative and clerical support to staff and patients across different service areas.
- Manage correspondence, data entry, and record-keeping with accuracy.
- Support service delivery by adapting to local systems, procedures and workflows.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative admin team culture.

About You

You’re a reliable, adaptable administrator who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys variety. You bring strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.

You Must Have

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email systems.
- Professionalism, reliability and discretion with confidential information.
- Availability for a minimum of 3 days per week.
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn.
