$107,660.00 - $115,154.00
Fixed Term
The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) is Australia’s audiovisual cultural institution. The NFSA collection includes over 4 million items, such as films, television and radio programs, videos, audio recordings, and video games. The collection also contains contextual materials like costumes, scripts, props, artefacts, photographs, and promotional materials. Public programs and services ensure that the collection is accessible for enjoyment, learning, research, and reuse by creators. In the digital age, the NFSA’s wealth of stories will be increasingly available across the country and on demand, as outlined in the NFSA Strategic Direction 2022-25.
The Digital Project Manager will report directly to the Senior Manager, Program Management Office (PMO), and collaborate within the Digital branch as part of a high-functioning project delivery team. The Digital branch is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining digital infrastructure and public-facing experiences that provide innovative ways to manage, maintain, analyze, discover, and engage with the NFSA’s audiovisual collection.
The Digital Project Manager should possess strong project management, planning, and communication skills, with good attention to detail. The role involves managing and coordinating conflicting priorities and delivering projects within deadlines. The successful candidate will be results-focused, collaborative, and capable of successfully delivering digital content and experiences. You will work collaboratively with NFSA staff, external vendors, and creative talent. This role requires tertiary qualifications and a minimum of three years of experience working within a digital team. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, operate efficiently and with integrity, support colleagues in meeting project deadlines, and complete tasks to the required standards, contributing to multiple projects of moderate complexity and difficulty.
