Credit Risk Analyst Position
QTC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Risk Analyst to join its team. This role plays a critical part in assessing and managing the credit risk of clients and counterparties.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to conduct thorough credit reviews, perform market analyses, and provide informed recommendations to support investment and lending decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in completing periodic credit reviews on QTC's clients and counterparties.
* Complete periodic market counterparty jurisdictional reviews relating to QTC's investments, informing stakeholders in Risk and Funding and Markets Divisions.
* Conduct relevant analysis and provide borrowing recommendations on new client borrowing requests.
* Monitor, report on, and analyze the markets and operating environment of QTC's counterparties and clients.
* Make recommendations on QTC counterparty limits and provide analysis to support these recommendations.
* Manage, enhance, and build financial models, databases, and spreadsheets as required.
* Complete management reporting requirements on a weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual basis.

A degree in commerce, economics, business, finance, or other relevant discipline is essential. A Master's qualification or CFA certification is desirable. Minimum two years to five years' experience in a credit, financial analysis, or project finance-related role is also essential.
