School Psychologist Job Description
This position involves providing high-quality psychological services to students, staff and parents. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote student wellbeing and academic achievement.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment of students with mental health issues;
* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs;
* Collaborate with teachers, parents and other professionals to provide support for students;
* Conduct workshops and training sessions on mental health and wellbeing;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Masters degree in Psychology or a related field;
* Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA);
* Experience working with children and adolescents;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
