We’re seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Darwin-based Senior Structural Engineer, to deliver impactful projects across Northern Australia and beyond. As a member of our Buildings Services team, you will work on a variety of projects in the public and private sectors, across an extensive regional client portfolio. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you: Designing reinforced concrete, steel, timber, pre-cast concrete and masonry structures (incl. buildings, bridges, sewage treatment plants and schools to name a few). Working on small to medium-scale commercial, residential and industrial projects including civil infrastructure projects. Mentoring and inspiring junior engineers, helping shape the next generation of technical leaders. Providing technical leadership and client liaison, acting as a trusted advisor and preparing proposals, reports, and cost estimates. Cultivating strong client relationships by facilitating meetings, conducting site visits, and leading collaborative discussions to ensure project alignment and success. Collaborating with passionate colleagues and clients to deliver sustainable, future-ready solutions. What you will bring to the team: 7 years experience as a Structural Engineer in the Building Services environment, ideally from a consultancy background. Experience working on defence projects would be highly regarded. Engineering Degree (Structural). Hold accreditation as a structural engineer in the Northern Territory or be able to obtain accreditation if successful. Demonstrate a proactive, client-centric approach, actively contributing to business growth by identifying opportunities with both new and existing clients. Exhibit robust project management capabilities, confidently serving as the technical lead across diverse projects. Good understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Strong desire to mentor others and the experience required to offer technical leadership. Interested?
