Area Sales Manager Role Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to drive profitable retail newspaper sales for News Corp Australia publications within a defined territory.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Develop and implement strategies to increase sales opportunities through enhanced visibility and availability of products.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers within the designated territory.
* Collaborate with Retail Support to ensure a positive customer experience and execute agreed National & Regional promotional programs.
* Design and implement territory plans to capitalize on local market opportunities for customers.
* Execute the Call Cycle priorities for new and existing customers within the territory.
Requirements:
* Maintain and build strong relationships with our customer base, including National accounts, state-based key accounts, and independents in a multi-channel environment.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with a professional customer service focus.
* Value the customer experience and prioritize customer satisfaction.
* Two years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to leverage business data effectively to drive results.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills, with high attention to detail.
