Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Specialist.

About the Role
This is a dynamic role that requires a proactive professional who can balance technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring HSE policies, procedures and management systems in line with ISO standards and Australian legislation.
You will partner with managers and teams to embed best-practice safety and environmental management. This includes leading incident investigations, risk assessments and site audits across QLD and WA.
You will also design and deliver safety training, toolbox talks and awareness programs. Additionally, you will analyse HSE data and provide insights to support informed decision-making.
A key aspect of this role is building strong relationships with regulators, industry bodies and stakeholders. You will maintain a visible safety presence across sites through regular travel.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
We are looking for a qualified professional with:
* Qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Environmental Management or related discipline.
* Strong knowledge of WHS and environmental legislation.
* Demonstrated skills in risk management, incident investigation and safety leadership.
* Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
* Flexibility to travel interstate as required.
