Responsibilities
Deliver specialised mental health care
to paediatric inpatients, including assessments, therapeutic engagement, and trauma-informed interventions within a multidisciplinary team.
Support leadership and resource coordination
, assisting senior nursing and psychiatric staff in managing care delivery and team operations.
Ensure high-quality, consumer-centred care
, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and adhering to clinical standards and best practices.
Contribute to team culture and leadership
, helping build a collaborative, positive environment and supporting policy implementation and clinical governance.
Promote safety and quality
, identifying clinical risks, participating in safety initiatives, and supporting continuous improvement in care outcomes.
Qualifications
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Holds or is working towards relevant post-graduate qualifications in mental health or paediatric nursing
