The successful Sales Engineer will be responsible for introducing and deploying our process/unitary business in Australia. This role requires strong customer relationships, account share maximization, and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales targets as per regional sales goals.
2. Meet productivity KPIs, maintain prospect and quotation lists, adhere to sales policies, ensure credit applications are completed, and submit required reports on time.
3. Actively promote and educate customers on our products, solutions, and industry best practices while collaborating with decision-makers to achieve specifications.
4. Ensure effective coverage of the assigned territory.
5. Maintain strong relationships with customers.
6. Collaborate with internal support, sales operations, finance, supply chain staff, and the sales development team to achieve sales objectives and explore cross-territory opportunities.
7. Contribute to sales meetings.
8. Organize and assist with commercial activities (e.g., fairs, factory visits).
Your Profile:
1. Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in a similar industry.
2. Strong product knowledge, understanding of sales concepts and techniques, and commercial insight.
3. Customer-oriented with excellent relationship-building skills and experience with consultants, contractors, and end users.
4. Degree/technical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
5. Knowledge of water chillers and chiller-based systems is a plus.
6. Valid driver's license.
7. Accurate, punctual, driven, cost-conscious, studious, and able to set priorities and work well in a team.
