West Coast Reinforcing is a construction company delivering large scale projects across Western Australia since 2010.
Due to the current expansion of its business, West Coast Reinforcing is in need of two highly experienced carpenters whose main responsibility would be as follows:
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches
* Determine all materials and construction requirements for each job
* Take measurements and calculate the volume and quantity of material needed
* Cut and shape building materials (e.g., fiberglass and steel) according to measurements
* Set out and create templates and forms
* Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance as required
* Build scaffolding and other construction structures
* Assemble and fasten various materials to erect framework
* Install structures and fixtures
The successful candidates must have:
* Minimum 2 years previous experience as a carpenter, preferably in building and construction
* Certificate III in Carpentry
* Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, methods, and installations
* Exceptional technical knowledge of carpentry work,
* Ability to read technical documents and drawings
* Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
Preferred but not essential:
* experience with civil works, form and concrete, steel frame welding and machinery tickets
* Truck license
