Job Overview
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and maintenance of bespoke Engineering Management Plans (EMPs) that align with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Engineering Management Planning: Contribute to the creation and upkeep of EMFs that adhere to ASDEFCON (Support) guidelines.
* Schedule-Driven Execution & Assurance: Execute engineering plans in line with product schedules, work take on agreements, and contractual obligations to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
* System Safety & Configuration Integrity: Develop and maintain a System Safety Management System, guaranteeing product baselines, including ILS and logistics data, are technically sound and delivered as scheduled.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Engage with stakeholder boards to ensure conformance without compromising project timelines or budgets.
* Workforce & Capability Planning: Incorporate workforce attributes, technical authority requirements, and logistics factors into engineering planning.
Key skills required include: delivering Defence-aligned engineering services, providing timely high-quality engineering support, ensuring Engineering & Technical (E&T) team members are appropriately trained, qualified, and authorised, maintaining formal configuration control of product baselines, developing and maintaining safety plans and systems of work, and complying with Defence Engineering Frameworks.
