Duties/responsibilities
- Manage hives, including monitoring the health and condition of the bees
- Inspect site conditions regularly
- Breed and raise queen bees
- Assist with all aspects of shed management to ensure the efficiency of the beekeeping operation
- Collaborate closely with the team to optimize workflow
- Harvest and extract honey
- Load and unload beehives from trucks
- Ability to preform heavy lifting taske as required for handling beehives and equipment
- Relocate hives as needed
- Be proficient in all areas of hive management and hive splitting
- Exhibit knowledge and skill in effective beekeeping practices
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 2 years of beekeeping or apiary experience required
- A team player

- Excellent work ethic
- Strong Patience and attention to detail
- Be able to follow instructions accurately
- Australian work rights are essential for this position
