About The Role
The role will be based in South East Queensland, covering Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.
The Regional Director / Associate Director will be responsible for driving the operational performance of their team, while leading by example and fostering a high‐performing, engaged and collaborative group of Valuers.
In this role, you will provide strong leadership through coaching, mentoring, regular communication and engagement initiatives, supporting your team to achieve both individual and collective outcomes. You will play a key role in leading change initiatives and ensuring Opteon's processes, standards and ways of working are consistently embedded across the region.
Proactive performance management is essential, with accountability for consistent reporting and improvement across key metrics including turnaround time (TAT), quality, queries, quoting, financial performance and work‐in‐progress (WIP) management. You will set clear expectations, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance overall team performance.

You are a driven and commercially minded leader with highly developed people leadership capabilities, complemented by exceptional communication and business development skills.
You bring a strong client network, a commitment to continuous professional development, and the ability to translate strategy into tangible outcomes. You are comfortable leading through change, influencing at senior levels, and driving performance across a regional portfolio.
Key Qualifications
* Proven leadership experience, with a minimum of 2+ years in a senior leadership role, and a demonstrated ability to implement regional business plans and translate them into effective operational execution.
* Extensive valuation experience, with 5+ years as a Certified Practising Valuer (preferred).
* Post‐graduate qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Associate membership of the Australian Property Institute (API).
