**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including but not limited to, ovens, grills, and dishwashers, following safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly, adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels by storing food items appropriately and notifying management when supplies are running low.
- Follow food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of food products.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a kitchen workplace is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.
