Our Yeppoon store is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to join their team on a Full Time basis. This is an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills, overseeing a retail team with a unique buzz and energy at Telstra within a dynamic team environment.

Key responsibilities
* As an Assistant Retail Store Manager, work closely with the Store Manager to coach and grow the team.
* Coach retail consultants to success, ensuring they are driven and energized to reach and exceed store targets.
* Oversee induction of new team members.
* Coach the store team to meet (and exceed) store targets.
* Support the team with customer query escalations.
* Be the Store Manager's right-hand person, stepping up to act as Store Manager when needed.
* Execute business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics.
* Lead from the front to motivate the team and foster an engaging store culture.
* Organise the store floor and the team\'s work schedules to meet customer demand.
About you
* You have previous experience in a retail leadership / assistant management role.
* You can energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success.
* You lead from the front and can influence and build rapport with a diverse team.
* You can resolve customer issues and bring creative problem solving to the role.
* You are an excellent communicator who can support the Store Manager in guiding the team through change.
