Receptionist | Allied Health role at Adventist HealthCare Limited (Aus)
Part – time 4 days a week, Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri role in Wahroonga; NSW's largest private hospital; Varied and fulfilling role in a supportive team.
What You'll Be Doing In This Role
The San's Allied Health team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Social Workers and our Outpatient Services team of specialty Nurses provide direct patient care, rehabilitation, treatment and health improvement intervention. As a pivotal member of our team, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our services and fostering a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
This is a varied role which will see you working across two desks, greeting and assisting visitors with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all. You'll manage incoming phone inquiries and emails, coordinate appointments and meetings, prepare and distribute reports and assist with billing and invoicing.
This role is for 4 full days per week - Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri (this is a must).
Who We're Looking For
* You'll have previous experience in a similar role with Administration and/or Secretarial qualifications and knowledge of Medical Terminology (preferable).
* You'll be a people person, with strong customer service skills, capable of working with hospital staff, clients, patients and their families.
* You'll be collaborative, adaptable, and be able to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to take feedback and adjust to changing needs and priorities.
* You'll be computer literate, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
* You'll be systematic, organised, able to multi-task under pressure, have excellent attention to detail and able to carry tasks to completion.
* You'll have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* You'll be empathetic, systematic, and prepared to embrace Adventist Healthcare's everyday values of excellence and integrity.
