As our operations expand, we are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to lead our production team and ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes.
Position Overview
Based in Geraldton, W.A., the Production Supervisor will oversee daily production activities, ensuring all targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery are met. This role involves supervising production staff, optimizing workflow, and supporting/suggesting initiatives to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise up to 10 employees and coordinate daily production operations across assigned lines or departments.
* Learn operations of site plant and mobile equipment.
* Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
* Lead, train, and motivate production employees to achieve performance and productivity goals.
* Monitor equipment and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
* Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with WHS and company policies.
* Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including warehouse, lab, front‑end and maintenance divisions.
* Maintain accurate production, stock‑take and loading in/out records.
* Assist in loading of trucks and production when required.
About You
Our ideal candidate should be people‑focused with a production or logistics background, excellent time management skills, and the ability to effectively manage time frames.
* Current HR licence and valid driver's licence
* 2‑3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse supervisor role.
* Experienced forklift operator with valid forklift licence
* Proactive, punctual and reliable attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Highly motivated with strong leadership and team development skills.
* Skilled problem solver and communicator with great organizational abilities.
* Competent numeracy and literacy skills.
* Strong commitment to safety, quality and efficiency.
