Summary
Summary: The purpose of the position will be to contribute to the delivery of quality support to the Multiple Youth Support Service teams, improving efficiencies through the administration of program processes and information systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support duties including minute taking, filing, scanning, and data entry.
Coordination of inventory and asset management.
Coordination of staff trainings, licenses and travel compliance requirements.
Monitor finances for services TIBI Lighthouse and TYSS.
Minute taking for all Team Meetings as directed by the Practice Lead.
Distribution of minutes and uploading in records registry.
Administrative support functions to support the continuity and provision of services.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent.
Relevant experience working within an administration support position.
Demonstrated competence in the use of business technology and desktop applications (Internet, Word, Excel and database platforms) with the ability to learn and instruct others.
Understanding of the historical and contemporary issues and challenges relevant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, organisations and individuals.
Demonstrated ability to take direction, determine priorities and manage workloads to meet agreed timelines and objectives.
Proven ability to adhere to the principles of confidentiality.
Well-developed written, verbal, visual and non-verbal communication skills to ensure positive engagement with staff, clients and visitors.
Required Licenses and Checks
Ability to pass a National Police Check with no Serious/Criminal/Court Records.
Current Blue Card (Queensland Working with Children Check).
Current C Class Driver's Licence (Qld).
Proof of qualifications and current registration (as appropriate) to be provided prior to commencement of employment.
