What are you going to doAnalyze training needs based on project requirements and operational goals.Develop and deliver training programs for propulsion, power generation, and auxiliary systems.Create training materials, documentation, and procedures in line with ILS and contractual standards.Assess third-party training content for relevance and suggest improvements.Coordinate and plan training activities with external providers.Define training equipment specifications and ensure quality during development.Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, ILS, and training teams.Track training project progress, maintain records, and report on results.Drive continuous improvements in training delivery and methodology.Ensure all training solutions meet regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards.Essential skills and knowledgeCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or higher).Over 3 years of experience in an ILS or training position within the defence or shipbuilding sectors.In-depth knowledge of propulsion systems, power generation, auxiliary systems, and marine operational equipment.Demonstrated experience as a Training Facilitator, Analyst, or similar role.Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to convert technical information into engaging, practical training content.Experience with e-learning platforms, simulation tools, or training system development is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
