Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Director to spearhead our Telecommunications division, driving sustainable growth and development. As a pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the success of the division by developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, improve project efficiency, and achieve organisational goals.
This includes planning, organisation, direction, control, and review of the division's day-to-day operations, such as setting and managing budgets, monitoring portfolio performance, and recruiting and managing divisional employees. You will also be deeply engaged in corporate initiatives and lead by example in implementing all corporate strategy and operations plan initiatives.
Missions/Main Duties
* Develop and maintain the Divisional Plan, Outlook, and Forecast Budget in alignment with the corporate strategy and operations plan
* Lead the day-to-day operational management and oversight of the divisional talent, including talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, coordinating with senior leaders on client development
* Oversee the entire project lifecycle for a wide-ranging, often complex and high-risk, project portfolio, ensuring efficient execution and financial viability
* Manage the division's day-to-day financials, including revenue, utilisation, profit and loss, and review/approve all variances to project performance
Required Skills and Qualifications
You will need:
* Senior experience in a leadership role
* Degree qualification, preferably in an Engineering discipline
* Demonstrated ability to provide clear communication, particularly when conveying complex ideas to non-technical audiences
* Proven capacity to provide excellence to clients and develop/maintain trusting stakeholder relationships
* Strong leadership skills to motivate and engage a team
