Position Summary
As a pivotal member of the Commercial team, theKey Account Managerwill lead the Sales Management team, reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Manager.
This role demands exceptional multi-retailer relationship management, commercial acumen, data analysis proficiency, and the ability to translate consumer insights into strategic business plans.
The objective is to optimise sales across all channels and Kendo Brands by driving strategic account management for both Brick-and-Mortar and online channels within Australia and New Zealand, fostering strong retailer relationships, and executing commercial strategies to achieve growth.
Job Responsibilities
Support the ongoing development and implementation of a long-term distribution strategy for Kendo Brands.
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, KPIs, budgets, and business goals.
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business growth strategies in collaboration with the Sales & Education and Marketing teams.
Prepare and deliver compelling bi-annual strategy presentations in partnership with the Marketing team.
Establish, nurture, and maintain strategic partnerships with key retailers and commercial partners.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial and promotional activities with retailers.
Collaborate with retailers to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to effectively execute growth strategies and enhance brand positioning across both Brick-and-Mortar (B&M) and online channels.
Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly sales reports and perform in-depth data analysis.
Lead the development of top-line budgets and manage monthly tracking by retailer, collaborating with the Sales & Education team on door-level dimensions and the Merchandising Planner on brand and product category levels.
Work synergistically with the Marketing team to identify and execute strategic trade marketing initiatives to propel business growth.
Champion the development and implementation of insightful business storytelling visualization projects (e.g., Power BI dashboards), partnering with the Sales & Education team and Merchandising Planner to create store and product performance dashboards.
Manage wholesale order communication with retailers and liaise with the local warehouse team to ensure accurate Net Sales landing.
Oversee product assortments and act as the central contact point for retailers regarding all omni and digital NIF & P-pages.
Collaborate with the Merchandising Planner to define accurate forecasts and managing the BOM with Warehouse team.
Partner with Sales & Education team to proactively manage stock levels and ensure all doors are equipped to drive sales growth.
Review Retail Sales and Gross Sales data to ensure optimal inventory management across all channels and brands.
Profile
Work Experience: 5-10 years' relevant experience as a Key Account Manager (Multi-retailer relationship management and beauty industry experience is preferred).
Attitudes: A true team player and all-rounder; enthusiastic and can do attitude; self-starter with good attention to detail; solution driven, and customer oriented; proactive, committed and passionate; perceptive/observant with exceptional attention to detail.
