Kitchen Hand Positions - What You'll Do:
Assist in meal preparation and plating according to dietary needsSupport a respectful, high-quality dining experience for residentsMaintain kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene standardsEnsure correct utensils and portions for each residentContribute to a safe, welcoming environment with every service
Catering Assistant - What You'll Do:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals in line with dietary requirements and food safety standardsMaintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, food storage, and dining areasWash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and follow daily cleaning checklistsHelp with the setup and service of meals to residents in dining rooms or individual roomsEnsure all kitchen and food safety regulations are followed, including correct storage and labellingCommunicate any dietary concerns, resident feedback, or safety issues to relevant staff
What We're Looking For:
No formal qualifications required - we provide training!Casual shifts - open to availabilitiesPrevious kitchen or hospitality experience (desirable but not essential)A passion for food, respect for the elderly, and commitment to quality serviceNDIS Check (or willing to obtain)Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in Aged Care highly desirable but not essential
