The Role of Recruitment Consultant
This is a busy, people-focused role for someone who genuinely enjoys matching the right people to the right opportunities and supporting both managers and candidates through the process.
As our Recruitment Consultant, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle while building trusted relationships with hiring managers, candidates and industry contacts.
* Advertising vacancies and executing sourcing strategies across multiple platforms
* Screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates for a wide range of roles
* Coordinating skills testing, reference checks and pre-employment requirements
* Providing candidates and managers with accurate information on wages, conditions and job expectations
* Maintaining strong communication with job seekers, agencies and industry networks
HR & Advisory Support
Providing hiring managers advice on recruitment processes, award/legislative requirements and market trends
Interpreting awards, employment contracts and enterprise agreements as required.
Supporting workplace relations processes, performance matters and basic dispute resolution
Assisting with negotiation of employment terms and conditions
Ensuring accurate personnel records and HRIS updates during recruitment/onboarding
Onboarding & Induction
Coordinating pre-start documentation and compliance
Facilitating inductions and supporting new starters with information on conditions, salaries and internal processes
Helping embed new employees into the business and ensuring strong first impressions

Requirements Qualification
Strong experience in recruitment
Confident use of Microsoft 365 - Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
Excellent communication and follow-through
Strong organisation and ability to juggle multiple priorities
Calm, professional but down-to-earth style
High levels of trustworthiness, discretion and reliability
