This is a Social Worker (600079) role with Department of Health, Tasmania based in Latrobe, TAS, AU Department of Health, Tasmania Role Seniority - junior More about the Social Worker (600079) role at Department of Health, Tasmania The Team: Our Social Work team practices collaboratively with the wider multidiscipline team, providing psychosocial support to: Rehabilitation Unit patients, aiming to restore function and confidence to resume independent living. Vulnerable people experiencing an acute medical event and likely to require lifestyle adjustment. Outpatient services e.g., Cardiac Rehab and Oncology The Role: Under the supervision of the Social Work Clinical Lead, the role includes the planning, provision and evaluation of services as allocated. You will be Working primarily in the Mersey Community Hospital Social Work team as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development, provision and evaluation of social work services for consumers and their families in accordance with the Code of Ethics of the Australian Association of Social Workers and the Code of Conduct of the Department of Health. Rotating across all clinical caseloads including medical, rehabilitation, emergency department and Outpatients. Participating in a weekend on-call roster as required. Details of appointment: Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 15.2 hours per fortnight, commencing on a mutually agreed date. notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $73,834 to $111,364 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022 Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year other benefits if eligible. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum Benefits available to eligible candidates: Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
