We are expanding into Cambodia, which requires accounting staff who can support internal reporting and documentation in both English and Khmer.
About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Accountant to join our Perth-based team. This position covers a broad range of financial management and compliance duties, including:
* Preparing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
* Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
* Ensuring compliance with ATO requirements including GST, BAS, and superannuation.
* Supporting end-of-financial-year reporting, audits, and reconciliations.
* Providing financial analysis and advice to management.
* Assisting with internal financial reporting and documentation related to expansion into Cambodia, where Khmer fluency is essential.
Skills and Experience Required
* A bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years' professional accounting experience.
* Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation legislation.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
* Fluency in Khmer (written and spoken) required to prepare financial documentation and internal reports supporting Cambodian operations.
* Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
