School Facilities Maintenance Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable facilities maintenance professional to join our supportive school community. This role contributes directly to creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our students, staff and families.
The successful candidate will work safely, efficiently and independently, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail, communicating effectively with staff, and contributing positively to an inclusive and respectful school environment.
This position is a permanent part-time opportunity, approximately 25 hours per fortnight. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain outdoor areas, including sweeping, hosing and rubbish disposal, perform floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping and polishing, and ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained for daily use.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of school facilities;
* Performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks;
* Using appropriate equipment and chemicals in a safe and efficient manner;
* Reporting any issues or concerns to management;
* Working collaboratively with staff to achieve common goals.
