About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Perth. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing detailed structural design and analysis, preparing design documents, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and other multi-disciplinary engineering professionals to ensure the structural integrity and safety of designs.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in aquatics, particularly underground water structures. You will work on a variety of complex and challenging projects across industry sectors, domestically and internationally, and have the opportunity to stay up-to-date on industry standards and building codes.
">
Main Responsibilities:
">
• Develop structural designs and perform detailed calculations to standards and specifications
">
• Conduct structural analysis using software and hand calculations to ensure designs meet safety and performance requirements
">
• Analyse the impact of loads, stresses and other factors on structures
">
• Coordinate with project managers, architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success
">
• Provide technical advice to construction teams during the construction phase
">
• Conduct site visits as required to ensure construction is in accordance with design specifications and standards
">
Requirements:
">
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering
">
• Chartered Professional Engineer or relevant state certification or BEP status (or working towards completion of these certifications)
">
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in structural engineering, primarily with building & aquatic structures
">
• Strong knowledge and application of Australian and International Standards
">
• Experience with structural analysis & modelling software such as Spacegass, RAPT, ETABS, SLB (Inducta), TEDDS & other relevant tools
">
• Ability to manage multiple projects & meet deadlines
">
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
">
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
">
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
">
