**The Opportunity**

The **Intergrated Work Package (IWP) Program Lead** will manage all assigned staff and operating plans, organise, coordinate and controls projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company, and has budgetary accountabilities. The **IWP Program Lead** is the primary point of contact with the customer for all matters regarding their section of the IWP, including day to day contact and communication, and focussing on providing client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include undertaking business development activities in pursuit of new opportunities within the scope IWP (including extensions and expansions to existing). Skills are typically acquired through completion of qualifications and experience in Project Management and experience within the Defence acquisition and/or sustainment domains.

This role has a focus on identifying, scoping and establishing Outcomes-based Contracting (OBC) deliverable elements within one or more projects, and as such, will work closely with multiple KBR project and customer personnel.

**Additional responsibilities include**:

- Work closely with designated project managers and their staff, to develop appropriate delivery mechanisms including firm fixed price services where appropriate.
- In conjunction with project and customer personnel, design relevant delivery approach(es), including development of detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), WBS dictionary, associated schedule and progress measurement system.
- Assist with the estimation of cost build-up, required resources, delivery mechanisms, required inputs including government furnished information, and acceptance criteria, for firm fixed price deliverables.
- Establish risk management frameworks for both customer facing (in conjunction with project and customer personnel), and KBR only.
- In conjunction with project staff, advise on and manage the quality, schedule and cost of the delivery of the scope within the bounds of project access privileges and security considerations.
- Assist project personnel with tracking and reporting on the KBR financial, schedule, risks and benefits in aspects of firm fixed priced deliverables.
- In conjunction with project staff and working with broader KBR project management and project controls capabilities, establish a tailored project controls system for each relevant project to ensure that the deliverables can be met or exceeded, whilst minimising risk to KBR and ensuring significant customer satisfaction.
- In conjunction with Account Directors and other staff, establish an effective workforce planning, staffing utilisation system - management of resources across higher priorities and transition utilisation of staff on multiple firm fixed price and / or time and materials tasking.
- Lead delivery of project scoping with a particular focus on OBC training to KBR staff, KBR subcontractors and customer personnel (as may be appropriate).- Lead delivery of outcomes-based contracting on:
- understanding different pricing arrangements tailored to the project requirements.
- understanding price building against project requirements/scope.
- transition from time and material to outcomes.
- co-design and collaboration strong focus on planning, developing and execution of outcomes with a strong focus on workforce planning, risk and benefits identification.
- Undertake business development activities, especially under the context of OBC, to secure additional work that may otherwise have not been recognised as feasible by KBR and/or customer personnel.
- Act with a high degree of autonomy and maturity with personal accountability.
- Proactively be aware of and address all health and safety considerations.
- Other duties as directed.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree qualified in Engineering and/or Business or demonstrated commensurate senior management experience in a similar role.
- Experience in management of major programs with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Security Clearance (NV1 or above) issued by AGSVA
- Considerable project management or professional consulting experience.
- Considerable experience in the identification, scoping and execution of firm fixed price services.
- Strong client and staff engagement, relationship and communications skills.
- CASG / Defence / Defence industry or equivalent experience.
- Change management experience (desirable).
