Join a forward-thinking team delivering inclusive, evidence-based services to young people and their families across Hunter New England Local Health District. We're seeking a Staff Specialist Adolescent Physician to provide clinical leadership and compassionate care within the Trans and Gender Diverse Services team.
What You'll Do
* Deliver expert care to trans and gender diverse young people and their families.
* Play a key role in the development and growth of adolescent health services at John Hunter Children's Hospital.
* Contribute to the general paediatrics and adolescent medicine on-call roster.
What We're Looking For
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General Paediatrics and/or Young Adult Medicine (or working towards same with FRACP in another specialty).
* Demonstrated understanding about gender-affirming care and the unique needs of trans and gender diverse youth.
* A collaborative, inclusive approach and commitment to person centred care.
