We are seeking aNetSuite Technical Leadwho can operate as both aTechnical Solution Architectand aTechnical Coordinatorlocated in our Sydney or Melbourne office locations, leading solution design, integrations, and testing strategies for our NetSuite platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in NetSuite Suite Talk APIs (SOAP/REST), performance optimization, and testing automation, while also filling critical gaps in technical documentation and coordination across our ERP initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design scalable, high-performance NetSuite solutions with a focus on maintainability and best practices.
* Optimize code and solution architecture for performance and future growth especially for processing high volume data
* Proficiency in the NetSuite APM Tool
* Lead the integration of NetSuite with external systems using SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST APIs).
* Collaborate with internal and external development teams to implement and maintain integration pipelines.
* Testing & Automation
* Develop and oversee end-to-end testing strategies including automated testing frameworks.
* Ensure robust testing coverage across all modules and integrations.
* Technical Leadership & Coordination
* Act as a liaison between developers, functional consultants, and stakeholders.
* Coordinate sprint deliverables and technical backlogs with internal and external teams.
* Documentation & Standards
* Own and maintain technical documentation across solutions, including APIs, data models, build flow charts and workflows.
* Implement documentation standards and ensure knowledge continuity.
* CI/CD Support (Bonus)
* Collaborate with DevOps team on CI/CD strategies and deployments (bonus – we already have strong support here)
Required Skills & Experience:
* 5+ years of experience with NetSuite development and architecture.
* Strong hands-on experience with SuiteTalk (SOAP and REST APIs).
* Proven experience in designing scalable and high-performing NetSuite solutions.
* Deep knowledge of NetSuite customization, scripting (SuiteScript 2.x), and integration patterns.
* Experience with automated testing strategies and tools in the NetSuite ecosystem.
* Excellent documentation and communication skills – especially in bridging technical and non-technical teams.
* Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams and technical coordination.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams.
Preferred/Bonus Skills:
* Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
* NetSuite certifications (Developer, SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant) are a plus.
* Experience in agile project environments.
